Our approach
Research, training and advocacy
Research is one of NUSAMSBE's six areas of intervention (Axis 5). It aims to strengthen the capacities of local actors, produce evidence and promote policies that support nutrition and food security, through applied research and continuing training.
- Applied research and innovation, serving solutions adapted to local contexts;
- Action research, taught to student members of the University Nutrition Clubs under PROCUN;
- Use of field data from our activities to inform advocacy.
This axis is led by MSc. KAMATARI Olivier and MSc. SIBOMANA Aimable, specialists in epidemiology and biostatistics (see governance and team).
